Do good anyway

My personal religion belief is the cherry-pick the best of the entire Public Library of humanity, media in many forms, not just old books based on old oral traditions. www.GreatSealUSA.com details symbols of a world-wide cherry-picking faith system. As Joseph Campbell said in 1987 at age 82: "All religions have been true for their time. If you can recognize the enduring aspect of their truth and separate it from the temporal applications, you've got it."

Bible verse 1 John 4:20 speaks to me because I see it as a silhouette of what preachers avoid in 2024 that is objectively good. Messed-up World  page speaks what I have experienced and witnessed - hate is ALWAYS bad to me.

“People are often unreasonable, illogical and self-centered. Forgive them anyway. If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives. Be kind anyway. If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies. Succeed anyway. If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you. Be honest and frank anyway. What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight. Build anyway. If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous. Be happy anyway. The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow. Do good anyway. Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough. Give your best anyway. You see, in the final analysis, it is between you and your God. It was never between you and them anyway.” ― Mother Teresa

Cherry-picking does not mean total agreement. And what I cherry-pick at age 18 is not the same as what I cherry-pick at age 48. Understanding, experience, expansion changes things.
